Truck Driver CE

Are you an experienced CE truck driver looking for a well-paid job in the Netherlands? In this position, you transport building materials to construction sites, companies and private customers throughout the country.

You work in a rotation of six weeks in the Netherlands followed by three weeks at home. During the week, you make multi-day trips and sleep in your truck. At weekends, you stay in arranged accommodation.

Your work

You transport different types of building materials. Your routes and delivery locations change regularly, so no two working days are the same. One day you deliver materials to a large construction project. The next day, you may deliver to a company, warehouse or private customer.

Your responsibilities include:

• Transporting building materials throughout the Netherlands

• Delivering to construction sites, companies and private customers

• Loading and unloading with a truck-mounted forklift

• Placing materials safely at the requested location

• Checking and securing the load

• Completing transport and delivery documents

• Working with a digital tachograph and onboard computer

• Communicating professionally with customers and planners

• Taking good care of the truck, trailer and equipment

Experience with a truck-mounted forklift is helpful, but training can be provided.

Salary and benefits

Gross hourly wage

💶 Scale D6: €20.24 gross per hour

Average net income

💶 €4,000–€5,000 net per 4 weeks

Your exact net income depends on the number of working hours, overtime, allowances.

Bonuses and overtime

• 119% night hours: €24.09 gross per hour

• 130% overtime hours: €26.31 gross per hour

• 150% Saturday hours: €30.36 gross per hour

• 200% Sunday hours: €40.48 gross per hour

Multi-day allowance

• €65.04 net for each qualifying night away

Rotation and travel compensation

After completing your six-week working period, you return home for three weeks.

Travel costs between your home country and the Netherlands are reimbursed up to €230 for the return journey, subject to the applicable conditions.

What do you need?

• Valid CE driving licence

• Valid Code 95

• Valid driver card

• Relevant experience as a CE truck driver

• Willingness to make multi-day trips

• Ability to work independently

• A responsible and safety-focused attitude

• You speak good English to communicate with clients

• Willingness to load and unload building materials

• A forklift certificate or willingness to obtain one

• Experience with a truck-mounted forklift is an advantage

Your accommodation

During weekdays, you can sleep in the truck while completing multi-day trips. At weekends, you leave the truck and stay in accommodation arranged for international drivers.

A contribution of €75 per week is deducted from your salary for this accommodation.
